Nicki Minaj creates a video "Barbie Dreams" after the fight of Cardi B

Nicki Minaj had a few hectic days. The rapper quarreled with Cardi B at Harper's Bazaar ICONS party last Friday.

But Monday night, the 35-year-old rapper left behind the drama – launching the clip for his new single "Barbie Dreams".

In the clip, Minaj is nothing but joy, displaying her usual collection of bright, colorful outfits and bold wigs. The track-off of Minaj's last album, Queen – The American-Trinidadian star teases some of his contemporary rappers with his usual language. Director Hype Williams keeps the video clear and bright, with puppet versions of Lil Wayne, DJ Khaled and Tekashi 6ix9ine appearing here and there, while Minaj calls them.

The new fun clip follows the Friday night explosion of Minaj with Cardi B. During the altercation, Cardi tore his dress and was seen throwing a shoe in the direction of Minaj.

"The other night, I was part of something so mortifying and so humiliating to pass in front of a group of high-level people who have their lives together," Minaj explained during Monday's episode. Queen Radio show on Beats 1 from Apple Music.

"I was in a Gaultier dress – off the mother – track – and I could not believe how much we were all humbled," she added.

In the video of the altercation posted online, one can see Cardi, 25, charging somebody. In another video, Cardi can be heard shouting "tell me something about my daughter".

After the fight, Cardi was escorted out of the building by security. In the photographs, we can see the rapper "Be Careful" walking barefoot with a big ball on his forehead. Minaj was spotted smiling and kisses the crowd as she left.

An NYPD information officer confirmed to PEOPLE that no arrests had been made, but "the investigation is still ongoing."

One source told People: "Cardi walked to Nicki and suddenly Cardi started shouting something about his child. She shouted, "Bitch, you're crazy. Bitch does not talk about my child to Nicki.

The source also revealed that Cardi had "thrown off her shoe because she could not pass" to Nicki, who "was there with eight or nine bodyguards".

Not long after, Cardi explained his motivation on Instagram.

"I left a lot of s-! I let you sneak in, I let you lie on me, I let you try to stop my bags, as I eat! You have [threatened] other artists in the industry told them that if they worked with me, you would stop

"But when you talk about my child, you choose to comment on me as a mother, make comments about my abilities to take care of my daughter, that's when all the bets are screwed!" Kulture Kiari, a girl of one week, with her husband Offset.

Minaj denied having already mentioned Cardi's daughter.

"I just want people to know that Onika Tanya Maraj will never, never speak …," Minaj said on her Apple Music's Beats 1, using her full name. "I'm not a clown. It's the clown.

She went on to explain why she had waited a few days to talk about the incident.

Sending to Cardi, Minaj pointed out that since you knew that when these images were broadcast, you were about to look stupid.

"I'm not so smart that I did not feel the need to defend myself that night," added Minaj.
