A Norwegian traveled a large part of New Jersey Saturday and a video was filmed in some cities where the streets are flooded. Patch has a list of cities that lacked energy – more than 17,000 at midday – and were hit hard (see below).
Some cities have winds as high as 62 mph and had 2.4 inches of rain (see the lists below).
In Princeton, Bridgewater, and many other cities, fallen trees and log wires were blocking roads (See the list of flooded motorways below).
Long Beach Boulevard on Long Beach Island was "completely impractical," police said. Later in the day, communities in northern Jersey such as Bogota and Hackensack were hit (see the videos below).
More rain was expected in some areas later on Saturday and Sunday (see forecasts below).
The northeast hit the streets and shoreline hard at Point Pleasant Beach and other towns on the Jersey Shore, where people waded in the high waters.
Coastal flood warnings and high winds were in effect along the New Jersey coast, where wind gusts of 50 km / h were expected, and dangerous weather conditions prevailed throughout the year. State.
