No winner of Mega Millions, lottery jackpot now reaches $ 868 million (see the lowest prizes won in New York)
Nobody won the $ 667 million jackpot, Tuesday's draw. The winning numbers were 03-45-49-61-69; Mega Ball: 09; Megaplier: 5X.
With no tickets matching six numbers, the jackpot now stands at $ 868 million – the biggest grand prize ever won by Mega Millions and the second largest in the history of the American lottery. According to Cleveland.com, it's a $ 201 million jump due to an increase in ticket sales, with the potential to become even bigger before the next draw.
Meanwhile, the Powerball represents $ 345 million for the Wednesday night draw.
The next Mega Millions draw will take place on Friday night.
But do not throw away your tickets as of Tuesday: some lucky New York lotto players have still won smaller prizes totaling more than $ 2 million.
