An Amber alert was issued Monday for a 13-year-old girl who was abducted outside her home in North Carolina, authorities said. According to the Lumberton Police Department, Hania Noleia Aguilar was kidnapped around 7 am in the Rosewood mobile home park.

Aguilar grabbed his aunt's keys to start his aunt's all-terrain vehicle before heading to school. A family member told the police that an unknown man, wearing a yellow bandana on his face, had forced Aguilar to board the vehicle and stole it while she was lying there. always inside.

Police described the sport utility vehicle as a green 2002 Ford Expedition with peeling paint under the hood and a Clemson sticker on the rear window. It has a South Carolina license plate that reads: NWS-984.

"At this point, the neighborhood is terrified," said neighbor Rickie Chavis at WNCN-TV, a subsidiary of CBS. "It's a child, it's just not true."

Aguilar is a 5-foot Hispanic woman who weighs 126 pounds. She has black hair, brown eyes and braces. The last time she saw her, she was wearing blue jeans and a blue flowered shirt.
