The 2018-19 NBA season officially began Tuesday night, but only four teams were in action between games. Wednesday, however, things are going really well. There are 11 games on the list, including two on national television and a number of important debuts.

Leonard makes his debut for the Raptors
It was not really the most exciting bucket he'd ever scored for the Raptors, but Kawhi Leonard is on the board. On the fast break, Kyle Lowry made a point to get the ball from his new star, and Leonard turned a clumsy finish into the traffic. Leonard finished with 24 points and 12 rebounds in the Raptors victory over the Cavs.
DeRozan gets his first Spurs points
DeMar DeRozan, his counterpart of the big trade this summer, also played his first match with his new team. And of course, DeRozan did not take long to recover his first basket with the Spurs. He did it in the classic DeRozan fashion, hitting a midrange rider.
DeRozan finished with 28 points, four rebounds and four assists in his first game as Spur.
Butler plays for the wolves
Yes, Jimmy Butler is still on the Timberwolves and, as he promised, he is participating in their first regular season game. He did not take long to make an impact either, since he got an interesting flight and score.
Butler created a 3-pointer delay, but was unable to bring the Wolves back to full speed. He finished with 23 points, seven rebounds and four flights in the loss.
Pelicans dominate rockets
The Pelicans made a statement with a 19-point win over the Rockets at the opening night battle between two of the West Conference's top teams. Anthony Davis lost 32 points, 16 rebounds and eight assists, while Nikola Mirotic added 30 points and 10 rebounds in the win. In his first game with the Rockets, Carmelo Anthony scored three points out of ten for nine points. took doubtful midrange jumpers.
Giannis and Kemba embark on opening night thriller
The Bucks were quick against the Hornets, but Kemba Walker brought his team back in the second half to turn the game into a thriller. Giannis Antetokounmpo finished with 25 points, 18 rebounds and eight assists, while Walker scored 41 points.
