BEVERLY HILLS, CA (AP) – A round of the summer meeting reunion of the Television Critics Association present details on upcoming programs.

Octavia Spencer brings to television the remarkable saga of the black hair tycoon, Mrs. CJ Walker.
Netflix says that Spencer will produce and play in a limited series on the life of Sarah Breedlove, who was known as Walker.
The eight-episode drama is based on A Lelia's book "On Her Own Ground" and includes basketball star LeBron James as a producer.
Walker becomes one of the first created millionaire women by creating and marketing hair products for African Americans at the turn of the 20th century.
Netflix said the series would detail the hostility, rivalries, and tumultuous personal life that marked Walker's life.
Spencer is a winning Oscar Actress whose credits include "The Shape of Water", "Hidden Figures" and "The Help".
An release date for "Madam CJ Walker" has not been announced.
A PRINCESS, GROENING STYLE
] Matt Groening said his new series of adult cartoons "Disenchantment" has a feminist component that sets it apart from its previous shows.
Groening told reporters to bring new talent to the Netflix show that included voice actors Abbi Jacobson and Eric Andre.
He also pointed out the differences between the new project and his previous work, Fox's long-running series "The Simpsons."
"One of the reasons that" The Simpsons "is what it is, because of time constraints," he said. "In this show, we are able to let him breathe a little more, which I find rewarding."

"Disenchantment" premieres on August 17 on Netflix.

Netflix is standing by "Master of None" and Aziz Ansari despite an allegation of sexual misconduct against him earlier this year.
Cindy Holland, a head of programming for the streaming service, said that it was thought of a third season for the comedy starring and co-created by Ansari.
