The sight of Odell Beckham Jr. leaving the field and heading to the locker room as he shook his head Thursday night, even before the end of the first half, may not help the tension around him. and New York Giants.
Late in the first half, while the Philadelphia Eagles were at 24-6, Fox's cameras found Beckham in the locker room. Beckham was coming home alone because the first period was not over.
Giants coach Pat Shurmur said it was not the frustration of sending Beckham to the locker room earlier. The misfire went to get an IV because he was dehydrated.
Beckham told reporters that he was in the cramped.
And as it turned out, the Giants had another offensive game and had to do it without Beckham. The Eagles missed a long placement, the Giants recovered the ball with two seconds to go and played. Beckham was not on the field because he was back in the locker room. The pass went to Sterling Shepard, who gained 20 yards. It's not like Beckham would break through the Eagles' defense to score if he got the ball in the last game, but it was a bad look.
The Eagles eventually eliminated the Giants by winning 34-13.

Jay Glazer from Fox reported that the team sentenced Beckham to a fine for these comments.
This is not the first time that there is a drama between Beckham and the team. Shurmur said last week that he wanted to talk about football, no drama. But the drama is never far with Beckham. Unless the team has allowed Beckham to go to the locker room before the end of the first half, it will be interesting to see if he is punished again.
The Giants fought offensively in the first half on Thursday night. Beckham had two catches for 12 yards. Fans booed all the offense for slow performance. He finished with six catches for 44 yards.
If the Giants fans screamed against the team that entered the locker room at the end of the first half, Beckham did not hear it. He was already inside.
