Eli Manning won two Super Bowls with a winning victory late in the fourth quarter.
He might have just saved his job with another.
Manning made his 27th career comeback in the fourth quarter with a 75-yard touchdown to beat the 49-27, 27-23 on Monday night. He led the race with a three-yard shot to Sterling Shepard, who had been silent for most of the game.
The Giants, who had not led the game for more than a month, returned from a deficit of 10 points in the second half and three points in the fourth quarter. Manning led the Giants on nine games, using Shepard, half-outs Evan Engram and running back Saquon Barkley after relying heavily on Odell Beckham for most of the game.
