Some MCU fans have been confused as to when each Marvel movie takes place. Well, now you will not have to worry about time differences or complicated holes designed for when and where some of these stories unfold. Marvel has mapped everything, with a clearly defined year for each adventure.
The official timeline comes from the collection of Marvel Studios sources: The first 10 years. And it helps to dispel any confusion as to when things happened between the first MCU movie in 2008, which was the mega-blockbuster Iron Manand the penultimate film released, which is the one from last summer War of Infinity. The Titan publisher is behind the book Marvel Studios: The First 10 Years. And they were smart enough to include this official timeline of events. Fans are able to explore the whole story of what happened and, more importantly, when that happened, leading to the events seen from Avengers: Infinity War. It's interesting to note that Iron Man took place two years after the date on which it was published. This calendar also indicates that the events of Iron Man 2 and the first Thor film were happening simultaneously in the same year.
Director James Gunn had already revealed that the first two Guardians of the Galaxy the films ran quite close to each other, with both scenarios taking place in 2014. This means that four years have elapsed between Guardians of the Galaxy Flight. 2 and War of Infinity.
It is expected that Avengers 4 There will be a very important jump in time, where we will see a more mature Cassandra Lang take over for her father, Scott Lang, aka Ant-Man, and a future where Tony Stark and Pepper Potts will be married and have a child. There is also a time lapse between the actual end of Ant-Man 2 and the post-credit scene, but it is expected that it will be only a few weeks, if not a few days, to see goes into the movie.
