This is the first meeting between the two schools since 1921.
Ohio State plays this game just 48 hours after learning that junior striker Micah Potter had decided to transfer. Potter averaged an average of 4.1 points and 2.8 rebounds in 59 games for Buckeye should be a major contributor this season.
Prediction
Stephen's Choice: Ohio State 69, Cincinnati 60. Starting the season with a win against a program as ambitious as Cincinnati would be a determining factor for the rest of the season. But the question will be how the Buckeyes will replace the 19.8 points, 8.7 rebounds and 1.6 blocks provided by Keita Bates-Diop last season.
