Kyler Murray of Oklahoma should not start on Saturday, while the Sooners, fifth in the standings, will face Baylor.

According to a Yahoo Sports report, Murray is being tried for disciplinary reasons. Instead, Austin Kendall will be behind the center to start the game. The sophomore completed eight of ten passes for 88 yards and one touchdown this season.

The story seems to be confirmed by a tweet from Kendall's mom: "The day of the match! Austin's first collegiate departure is today against Baylor! @ A_Kendall11 #proudnom #ballout ??"

The tweet is protected but has been confirmed by several media.

A confirmation request to Oklahoma was not immediately returned.

This situation is not new to Oklahoma or Murray. Last year, Baker Mayfield did not start the last home game of the team against West Virginia. Murray opened the game at quarterback and led the Sooners to a two-game touchdown. Mayfield then replaced Murray in the next series.

Since Mayfield's departure for the NFL, Murray has been one of the most successful players in college football in the first four games of the season. He had 1,028 yards and 11 touchdowns and ran for 240 yards and three runs.
