One person was killed and at least nine others were injured during a shootout in east Toronto, authorities said Sunday evening.
Toronto Paramedic Services was reported at 22:02 ET in Greektown, a neighborhood also known as Greektown on the Danforth. One person was found dead at the scene, while six others were transported to a trauma center and one seventh to a pediatric trauma center.
The paramedic reported that two others had been transported to hospitals.
The Canadian Broadcasting Corp. quoted the authorities as saying that the shots were no longer active, but that no other details were available immediately, including the age and sex of the victims
