One Planet: What are Kindergarten to Grade 12 students learning about climate change?

In this edition of One Planet Series by Your Call, we will discuss climate science education for students in Kindergarten to Grade 12. Last spring, teachers across the country received a package from the Heartland Libertarian Institute called Why Scientists Disagree About Global Warming.

In a number of states, Republicans are trying to weaken scientific standards, but teachers are fighting misinformation campaigns. Idaho recently voted to adopt standards that include lessons on climate change caused by humans. What is happening in other states?
