Oregon quarterback, Justin Herbert, was injured late in the first half of the Ducks' 55-15 win over his rival Oregon State in the "Civil War" and did not take over the fight. Doug Taumoelau and Shemar Smith dropped the junior player within five minutes of the end, which seemed to advance in favor of his shoulder. He was replaced in the first period by Tyler Shough and Braxton Burmeister took the second-half lead for the Ducks.
