Notre Dame will head back to Dublin, Ireland, in 2020 to play Navy, the school announced Thursday.
The game is set for Aug. 29, 2020 at Aviva Stadium.
It's the third time the teams will meet in Dublin. The most recent trip came in 2012, when Our Lady defeated Navy 50-10.
Our Lady plays Navy this Saturday in San Diego.
"The University of Notre Dame, our football program, our alumni and fans had such a wonderful experience in 2012," Notre Dame athletic director Jack Swarbrick said in a statement. "The people of Ireland were incredibly welcoming and made our time on the Emerald Unforgettable, it was not long after this trip to Navy. (Navy athletic director) Chet (Gladchuk) and his staff at Navy deserve this a reality. "
The teams also played in Dublin in 1996. The Irish beat the Midshipmen 54-27 at Croke Park.
"We are thrilled and excited to return to Aviva Stadium in Dublin for the 94th game of the Navy-Notre Dame game," Gladchuk said in a statement. "In 2012, it was one of the greatest airlifts in the world. 35,000 people coming from the United States to witness the beauty of Ireland and the extravaganza that is Navy-Notre Dame and we expect just as many people to return in 2020.
