Legendary heavy-metal singer Ozzy Osbourne, who had a hand-operated operation this weekend, postponed Tuesday's San Diego concert at Chula Vista's Mattress Firm Amphitheater and his Thursday concert at the Hollywood Bowl. Both are part of the North American tour of his "No More Tours 2" tour, which is coming to an end soon.

His show at Chula Vista has been postponed until October 18th, while his show at Hollywood Bowl will take place on October 15th. Tickets for the postponed concerts will be honored on new dates or may be refunded at the time of purchase.

Osbourne was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2006 as a member of the Black Sabbath group, which he co-founded. He was operated on with his right hand at the Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles after being diagnosed with an infection. The exact nature of the infection and its cause have not been disclosed.

The two new concert postponements took place after the Osbourne doctors advised him to take more time to recover from his surgery and infection.

On Tuesday afternoon, a photo was posted on his Facebook page of Osbourne, in his hospital bed, with his bandaged right hand and an ice cream cone in his left hand. His thumb, and rightly so, the middle finger appear heavily bandaged on Facebook's photo.

On Saturday, Osbourne postponed his concert at the Mountain View Shoreline Amphitheater until October 20th. For the moment, his October 13 th show at the MGM Grand Garden Theater is set to go as planned.

Stone Sour will open the Osbourne concert in Las Vegas. New numbers are being arranged for his postponed shows in Chula Vista, Los Angeles and Mountain View.

"I slow down, but I'm not retiring. I'm 70 years old! Said Osbourne – who is even 69 – in an interview with Sunday's Arts and Culture section of the Union-Tribune. The 2019 tour of its "No More Tours 2" tour is scheduled to begin on January 30 in Dublin, Ireland.
