Ozzy Osbourne hospitalized for infection, postponed

Ozzy Osbourne was hospitalized because of the treatment required for an "infection", revealed a press release. The news was accompanied by a photo of Ozzy's hand, which was wrapped in bandages after an operation.

In turn, the rock icon postponed its show tonight (October 6) in Mountain View, California. It is currently postponed until Tuesday, October 16th. An act of support has not been announced yet. Read the official press release in its entirety below.

The OZZY OSBOURNE broadcast on Saturday, October 6 at the Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View, California, is postponed due to illness. The singer and songwriter inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, recipient of a Grammy Award, is being treated for an infection that has earned him an operation by hand this morning (Saturday, October 6). OSBOURNE will spend a few days in Cedars-Sinai, Los Angeles, where he will remain under the supervision of a doctor while monitoring the infection. The show is part of the North American movie "NO MORE TOURS 2", produced by Live Nation, North America. It is scheduled to resume on Tuesday, Oct. 9 at the Chula Vista Mattress Firm Amphitheater before the end of this tour with shows at the Hollywood Bowl (October 11) in Los Angeles and Las Vegas (October 13) at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Stone Sour will perform at these three shows.


The October 6 issue has been postponed to Tuesday, October 16 (the act of support for the new date is to be confirmed). Holders of tickets for the October 6th issue must keep their tickets as they will be honored by the date set for October 16th. Refunds are also available at the point of purchase.
