SAN DIEGO – If you have tickets to see Ozzy Osbourne at Mattress Firm Amphitheater on Tuesday, you'll need to change your schedule.
The former leader of Black Sabbath announced Monday that his hospitalization for a hand infection has forced him to defer other concerts, including Tuesday's concert in Chula Vista.
Osbourne was hospitalized during the weekend and originally he had canceled only his Saturday concert at Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View. On Monday, however, Osbourne issued an update on Twitter, stating that he hoped to be released from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on Tuesday and that he should postpone other broadcasts.
His show at the Matt Firm Firm Amphitheater is now scheduled for October 18th.
The appearance of Osbourne at the Hollywood Bowl, originally scheduled for Thursday, is scheduled for October 15. His first performance after the hospitalization will be Saturday in Las Vegas.
The concerts are part of Osbourne's "No More Tours 2" World Farewell Tour. The rescheduled Osbourne concerts mark the end of the North American tour, scheduled to end in March 2019 in New Zealand.
"I was extremely fortunate to have had two successful musical careers," Osbourne said in February when the dates of the tour were announced. "I see this last tour as a big party for my fans and everyone who has loved my music over the last five decades."
