Packers reportedly signed Bashaud Breeland after losing Davon House to the injured reserve

Six months after lose an agreement of $ 24 million over three years with the Panthers due to a physical failure, Bashaud Breeland finally got hooked on a new team. According to Rob Demovsky of ESPN, Breeland agreed to sign with the Packers on Tuesday.

Breeland joins the defense. Demovsky also reported that corner veteran Davon House should land on an injured reserve with a shoulder injury. The Packers also lost defensive end Muhammad Wilkerson to an ankle injury, while second-year cornerback Kevin King missed week 3 with a groin injury.

In Breeland, Packers can get an absolute flight at this point in the calendar. In Washington, for the first four years of his career, Breeland had eight interceptions, 59 defended passes, seven forced fumbles and 211 solo tackles. Advanced stats are also nice to him.

Said like that, he was pretty good last season to land a $ 24 million deal with the Panthers in a free agency. He was just not healthy enough. Breeland, who was recovering from an injury to a foot at that time, failed his physique, which canceled his agreement. He had to wait until the fourth week to be signed, but he will join a Super Bowl competitor. So he has it for him.

The Packers are suffering though. After their miraculous win against the Bears in Week 1, during which Rodgers was injured in the knee, they tied the Vikings and lost to the Redskins. They are suddenly behind the Bears in the NFC North. Their 1-1-1 record is less of a concern than injuries. Rodgers seems to be hindered. Right guard Justin McCray will not be available at week 4 due to an injury to the shoulder, according to Demovsky. Wilkerson is for the season. The king is hit. It's been three weeks and the wounds are already testing the depth of the Packers.

The next Packers game is a home game against the Bills. This should, in theory, be a comfortable victory, but again, the Bills just got into Wisconsin Minnesota and shock the vikings.

In three weeks, the Packers' defense ranks 23rd on both yards and points.
