JERUSALEM (AP) – The health ministry in Gaza says Israeli forces shot and killed a Palestinian fence separating the territory from Israel.

The Israeli military said his forces fired towards several Palestinians who were seen approaching the fence and "sabotaging" it, without elaborating.
Gaza's Hamas have recently been scaled down to a month-long wave of border protests in Egypt.
Israel says it is defending its border and accuses Hamas of using the protests to cover the stage of infiltration and attacks.
More than 160 Palestinians have been killed in the demonstrations March 30. A Palestinian sniper shot dead an Israeli soldier in July.
