Pamela Anderson has described the relationship with Julian Assange as a "romantic struggle"

Pamela Anderson explained her relationship with Wikileaks founder Julian Assange.

Baywatch's bomb – who is campaigning for the release of the Australian activist – described her situation with Assange as a "romantic struggle".

The star is regularly photographed entering and exiting the Ecuadorian Embassy in Kensington, London, where Assange is hiding.

Anderson, a long-time animal rights activist, said she had arranged a meeting with Assange just over two years ago.

"I wanted to meet him because I wanted to ask him how to become a more effective activist.Of course, I was fascinated by him," she said.
