A disruptive passenger boarding an Alaska Airlines flight connecting Oahu, Hawaii to San Francisco was stopped and removed from the plane by several police on Thursday, September 27.
According to Lindsey Babb, another passenger in the plane, the man removed from the flight was in the bathroom for 30 minutes and refused to go out. When the police arrived, the passenger began to scream and resist his arrest.

In a video recorded and shared by Babb, the man is seen without his shirt screaming after the police trying to drag him out of his seat. At one point, he shouts "Do not stop me" while they keep him on the ground and try to hold him back. Babb reported that five policemen had boarded the plane to care for the unruly passenger.
Alaska Airlines confirmed the incident at the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport in a statement to Fox News, noting that the passenger had entered the restroom and refused to leave, which prompted the police to intervene .

Babb, who told Action News now that her two daughters and herself were terrified during the flight incident, felt that the airline could have coped better with the situation. However, she indicated at the press briefing that the airline had offered to refund the tickets.
