It did not look good when it happened, and it did not look good when Patriots' running back Jeremy Hill tweeted after the match and now, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport is reporting. Hill actually has a ripped ACL and will miss the rest of the season.

A photo posted on HIll's Instagram account summed up the feelings of the second day and was a very good indication of where to go.

In the third quarter of the Pats 27-20 win over Houston in the first game of the season, after the Texans retrieved a fumble from Rob Gronkowski after a 25-yard pass from Tom Brady, Hill was in pursuit to make the tackle. Rear patriots James Develin was stuck on the side of Hill's right knee. He buckled and he fell. Hill stayed on the grass for about two minutes before being helped. He did not put weight on his leg and immediately headed to the medical tent before being helped in the locker room.
Aged 25, Hill signed a one-year contract with the Patriots as a free agent during the off-season after four seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals. His first season of the Patriots ends now after only one game.

A day after missing a punt in the fourth quarter that led to a Texans touchdown that reduced the Patriots' lead to 27-20, the Pats gave up receiver Riley McCarron.
McCarron had been added to the training team last week before the opening game of the season. McCarron is not the only patriot off work Monday; The team also released Chad Hansen, leaving only three wide and healthy receivers on the list (Phillip Dorsett, Chris Hogan and Cordarrelle Patterson).
The Patriots also developed former Browns receiver Corey Coleman and former Broncos player Bennie Fowler as the search for passers and kickers continues.
the #Patriots spent today working on the old #Browns First round WR Corey Coleman, I say it. He has a visit with the #Eagles scheduled for tomorrow.
– Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) September 10, 2018
Coleman, 24, was the 15th pick in the 2016 NFL draft and had 56 catches for 718 yards and five touchdowns for the Browns before being traded to the Bills this summer. It lasted less than a month in Buffalo before being released on the day of the end of the day.
Fowler, 27, also went through training camp to be released as part of the final cups with the Bears. An undrafted free agent in 2014, Fowler had 56 assists for 698 yards and five touchdowns for the Broncos from 2015 to 2017.
