Was it just me, or did we stretch the comments that Jalen Ramsey, the Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback, held on to Rob Gronkowski in June, a few months before the New England Patriots fin?
Do not mistake yourself. I'm very happy to see the first time Gronkowski is standing in line with Ramsey on Sunday for the Patriots-Jaguars game for Week 2. But there's been a lot of talk about the Jaguars' "throw-in" this week, when she is content to comment on a player on his list of 53 players made three months ago.

I have long thought that people react excessively to the receiver's situation. The Patriots have enough receiving weapons, including tight ends and reinforcements, that there is no real advantage that they only have three usable widths. And I agree that Phillip Dorsett looked great for week 1.
The situation of return is a little more scary. Rex Burkhead faces a concussion, Jeremy Hill is on an injured reserve and Sony Michel is still limited by a knee injury. James White and Kenjon Barner, 195 pounds, are the only healthy carriers of 53-man training.
If Burkhead and Michel can play this weekend, then the Patriots are probably going well. But if only one of Burkhead and Michel can play, or neither of them can go, then I think the Patriots have to sign back the test team before Saturday at 4pm. You do not want Burkhead, who has suffered a concussion and a knee injury, or Michel, who has a knee injury, to have a complete workload on the Jaguars. It would be sad and irresponsible. White and Barner are not ideal players to help support the weight due to their size.
I think that signing up with Kenneth Farrow on the exercise team makes more sense than bringing in Ralph Webb, a pre-season favorite for Patriots fans. Farrow is a big back of 5 feet 9 inches, 219 pounds and more. Webb is smaller, 5 feet 10 inches, 200 pounds and probably could not do much between tackles.
Farrow has played 13 games twice, as a rookie with the San Diego Chargers. He was injured in the ankle all last season with an ankle injury.

Well, they've pretty much resisted the Houston Texans, so you'd think they'd do well against the Jaguars as well.
It may not be so simple. The defensive backs of the Jaguars are much better than those of the Texans. Patriots quarterback Tom Brady dropped the ball in just 2.4 seconds on average in the first week. He will probably not be able to get the ball out so quickly against a better secondary. If Brady starts to keep the ball longer, then guys like Calais Campbell, Yannick Ngakoue and Malik Jackson could start to go down.

I would be shocked if Coleman is active against the Jaguars. By the way, these are pronounced Jag wars. No son Jag. No Jag-You-Ares. That's Jag Wars. It's not difficult.

No, because he's smart. He will always be in the right place at the right time, just like Dont'a Hightower.
But Bentley is not an engraver like the linebackers Jaguars Myles Jack or Telvin Smith. He will never be able to follow a faster race on a deep wheel course.
So, if the Patriots use it intelligently, then it will be fine.

I'm sure the Patriots would like to extend both players before they reach the free agency. It is not that easy.
If Brown starts the whole season as a Patriots' left tackle, he will probably see a huge salary on the open market. Same thing for Flowers it finally puts two-digit bags.
If the Patriots offered competitive contracts to Brown and Flowers, as they did with right guard Shaq Mason, then they could hit the road and sign. But tackles on the left and defensive ends are more expensive than good guards.
The Patriots have options in both positions if Brown and Flowers leave as free agents in the off season. They have rookie Isaiah Wynn, who is currently hitting a torn Achilles at the attacking tackle, and Derek Rivers, Deatrich Wise, Keionta Davis and Adrian Clayborn on the defensive.

I think it's certainly possible.
Before the fourth and final preseason game, Brady, Julian Edelman and Odell Beckham were all on the pitch before the match. I saw a tweet from a Patriots fan saying that he wished he could see the three games in a team.
