PBS claims that Trump used a modified version of the Obama movie

PBS said Monday night that President Trump had used an edited version of their images of a 2016 city hall that had not shown the full context of President Obama's remarks.

Trump tweeted a video earlier Monday night who touted his economic achievements as a rebuttal to Obama expressing himself to mayor.

The video seems to gather a number of phrases from Obama's speech and jazzy trombone.

"Because some of these past jobs will not come back. And when someone says that he will bring back all those jobs. Well, how are you doing exactly that? What are you going to do? What magic wand do you have? Obama is heard in the Trump video.

PBS pointed out that Obama's remarks were truncated and that the network published the full excerpt of the exchange with an elector.

In the clip, Obama's remarks about jobs and training for the new US economy were heard in a broader context.

"For people who have lost their jobs right now because a plant has fallen in Mexico, it's not going to make you feel better. So we have to make sure that people are trained for the jobs that are coming in now, because some of these past jobs will simply not come back, "says Obama.

"And when someone says – like this person you just mentioned, to whom I'm not going to advertise – that he will bring back all those jobs. Well, how are you doing exactly that? What are you going to do?

"There is no answer to that. He simply says, "I'm going to negotiate a better deal." Well, how are you going to negotiate that exactly? What magic wand do you have? And usually the answer is – it has no answer.
