Several NJ Transit train lines are expected to be up to an hour late in both directions, officials said Wednesday, creating a daily commuting jigsaw for passengers at the Penn Station in New York.

The train service on the Northeast Corridor and Jersey North Shore was suspended earlier due to Amtrak's overhead cable issues, NJ Transit reported on Twitter. The problem was resolved. NJ Transit officials said at 5:52 pm

The Montclair-Booton line experienced delays in service.

Social media passengers said they arrived at a crowded station at Penn Station.
