HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) –

Passengers on a Spirit Airlines flight describe what they saw when a woman had a mid-flight collapse on the way from Houston to Minneapolis.

An eyewitness video taken by passenger Chianti Washington shows a woman frantically strolling the alley from the plane bound for Minneapolis, hysterically screaming.

This happened after the emergency landing of the flight to Rochester, Minnesota, for a different passenger who needed medical attention.

The woman who seemed to have a breakdown asked to get off the flight, walking down the aisle three times, passengers say.

During the intense video of a minute and 20 seconds, the woman cursed, made threats to her brothers and acts erratically in front of a plane full of stunned passengers.

"Give me the f *** of this plane (long chain of explosives)!" the woman shouts. "You want to be (expletive) and b ** chy to me? You will see me f *** ing angry."

Passenger Frances Andraya told ABC13 that the woman wanted to help with the medical emergency, saying that she was a nurse. However, the crew told him that they already had three people and first responders and asked him to stay seated.

"People were scared, you know, there were several children at the back of the plane, I do not know at the front of the plane, but I know that all the world on the back of the plane was very upset, "Andraya said.

INTERVIEW RAW: Passenger talks about moments of tension in flight

At some point, when a passenger gets up to prevent the woman from getting to the front of the plane, she shakes her fist to the man before attacking again.

"Do you know who my brothers are, they are marine snipers, do you want to fuck with a navy? she screams, before making her way to the cockpit.

Before the woman was escorted out of the plane, a stranger tried to console her, even letting her cry on her lap in order to let the woman regain her composure.

Passengers say the woman claimed to be a military veteran and passengers think she was suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder.

"We realized that it was like an episode of PTSD because of everything that she said:" You have to get me off the plane, I'm military, you have to contact my family " so after a while, it was like she's not just a rude passenger, she has some sort of imbalance or stress disorder, "says Andraya.

Spirit Airlines issued the following statement to ABC13 about the incident:

Yesterday morning, a flight from Houston to Minneapolis had to land in Rochester, Minnesota, due to a medical emergency. On the ground in Rochester, another passenger became erratic and furious and was removed from the plane with the help of the police. We apologize to our guests who had to attend this and for the inconvenience caused by the delay. Safety is our number one priority at Spirit Airlines.

After two hours on the ground, the flight resumed in Minneapolis. The passengers we spoke to praised the flight crew for preventing the situation from getting worse.
