Toys "R" Us's mascot, Geoffrey the Giraffe, packed his suitcase – presumably full of toys – and left his realm of toys forever. A heartbreaking picture of Geoffrey is circulating a day before Toys "R" Us closes its remaining stores.

The picture shows the giraffe in an empty "R" Us Toys, holding a suitcase and waving goodbye. The photo was taken by Rene Johnpiere, who seems to work at Toys "R" Us. Johnpiere posted several other sad pictures of the empty shop on Facebook.

She shared pictures of empty shelves, empty caddies and a group of employees who were closing the doors of the future closed shop. "My heart breaks," writes Johnpiere with a photo of the store's store signs.
