Police investigate attempted suicide-murder in Lewisville.
That happened around noon Thursday in a building located in the 100 block east of Round Grove Road.
Daryl Stegall, 32, hit the front door of Kishana Jeffers with a kick, pulled a gun and fired at her in front of her children, according to Lewisville police.
Stegall then ran to the door and shot himself in the pass.
Jeffers, 30, is deceased. Stegall is in the hospital.
The children, a 7 year old girl, a 9 year old boy and a 10 year old girl, are safe.
