A man from Allentown called 911 on Sunday and informed a dispatcher that he had shot his mother and sister, according to a criminal complaint.

When the police arrived, they found the women dead.

Zakiiy Altariq Carson, 35, was tried on Monday by Judge Patricia Engler, District Judge, under two counts of criminal homicide. Police said they opened fire on her apartment at 950 N. Fifth St., Latricia Ezell, 52, and Ashley Campfield, 29.

Carson was incarcerated at Lehigh County Jail without bail.

According to the complaint:

A man called 911 at 18:12 identified himself as Zakiiy Carson and told the dispatcher that he had killed his mother and sister. Carson gave his address and the police arrived and detained him without incident.

The complaint says that Carson told police on the spot that he had shot the women after a fight.

At headquarters, Carson said that he had quarreled with both women and that he had gone to smoke a cigarette on the outside. When the women went out, he shot them, the complaint said.

Lehigh County Coroner Scott Grim said the two women died from gunshot wounds and found these killings.
