The Glynn County Police Department confirmed that three people died after an apparent stalemate with law enforcement.

Authorities say the clash involved Robert Sasser, a former police lieutenant, at his home on Thursday night.

According to Florida's First Coast News, this fatal incident involves several scenes, including one in Glynn County and another in McIntosh County.

The Glynn County Police Department, the Glynn County Sheriff's Office, the McIntosh County Sheriff's Office and the Georgia Investigation Bureau will hold a joint press conference at 9am Friday morning for provide more information.
