Police in Fairfax County, Virginia, are investigating what they call a murder-suicide after the discovery of a man and a woman found dead inside their home the night before Thanksgiving.
WASHINGTON – Police in Fairfax County, Virginia, are investigating what it calls a murder-suicide after the discovery of a man and a woman found dead in their home on Wednesday night.
A family member discovered the bodies of Ever Gudiel, 60, and his wife, Judith Garcia Gonzales de Gudiel, 51, before 11 pm. in the 7300 block of Parkwood Court in the Falls Church area.
Police believe that before killing himself, Gudiel attacked his wife and traumatized her upper body. They said there was no sign of forced entry.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will perform autopsies and determine the cause of death.
Police do not believe that public safety is threatened.
