Police say father uses girl to hide stolen handgun

A man in Georgia has been accused of using his three-month-old daughter to hide a stolen handgun during a roadside check Thursday.

Detavis Madison, 24, was initially arrested by Snellville police for driving with her young daughter on her lap Thursday, but the authorities discovered much more than they had expected. An officer asked Madison when he understood why he was arrested and he confirmed that it was because he had his baby on his lap.
