Police released photos of three men allegedly involved in a violent clash between left and right protesters in New York last week.
Investigators from the New York Police Department said the three men had taken part in a brutal fight on Friday night between protesters and members of the right-wing Proud Boys organization, which was designated as a group hatefulness by the Southern Poverty Law Center.
Police said that two of the people wanted for questioning were seen kicking a victim lying on the sidewalk and that the other was seen hitting a victim who was trying to escape. 39; escape.

The Southern Poverty Law Center, a non-profit legal defense organization that monitors extremist activities, ranks the Proud Boys as a hate group because of its alleged use of anti-Muslim and white nationalist rhetoric. The Proud Boys group describes itself as "western chauvinists", but denies links with the "all-right" racist movement.

Chaos erupted near the Metropolitan Republican Club in New York around 8:30 pm. Friday as protesters rallied to protest the speech delivered by Proud Boys founder Gavin McInnes.
The club said some protesters threw glass bottles at the participants as they left the premises.
"The remarks made by Gavin on Friday night, although sometimes politically incorrect and slightly edgy, certainly did not incite violence," wrote the Metropolitan Republican Club, noting that his building had been vandalized before the event.

Three others have already been arrested in connection with the incident.
Finbarr Slonim, 20, of Manhattan, and Kai Russo, 20, of Brooklyn, were arrested as a result of the event for robbery and assault, police said. A third man, 35-year-old Caleb Perkins, residing in Manhattan, was arrested and charged with robbery, assault and arrest, the police said.
