Post Malone is facing the death of Mac Miller as he knows it.
The rapper "Rockstar" spoke at the KAABOO Del Mar festival in San Diego on Friday wearing a custom white T-shirt with the words "RIP Mac Miller" in the center. Colored rosebuds were scattered over the rest of the shirt, which Malone associated with white pants printed with heart and white sneakers.
The 23-year-old rapper took Instagram to share a snapshot of his shirt, but left his caption blank. Miller and Malone were friends and would even collaborate on an album before Miller was found dead from an apparent overdose on September 7th.
In August, interview with Rolling stoneMiller spoke of scrambling with Malone. "Post and I talked about making an album," he said. "So we met and Frank Dukes worked on several of my records, but we never met, appeared, and we all started scrambling."
"It was beautiful," recalled the rapper. "We were just having a good time."
Malone was one of many stars to react to Miller's death on social media last week. "God f ** king dammit," he tweeted at the time. "You were such an incredible person, you changed your life so much, you loved so much in your heart, you inspired me throughout high school and I would not be where I am today without you never more kind and sincere and beautiful I love you, the king likes mac. "
