The jackpot for Wednesday 's Powerball lottery drawing has jumped to $ 229 million with a cash option of $ 134.3 million.
The winning powerball numbers are 41, 53, 59, 63, 66. The Powerball is 3 and PowerPlay is 3x.
No one has hit the jackpot since Aug. 11 – 52 days ago. The jackpot reset to $ 40 million for the next drawing.
While Saturday's $ 213.4 million drawing did not produce a jackpot winner, a pair of tickets matched numbers but not the Powerball.
A ticket sold in North Carolina is worth $ 2 million for an additional $ 1 to exercise powerplay option. A $ 1 million ticket was bought in Maryland.
In New Jersey, no one won more than $ 200.
Saturday's winning numbers were 9, 17, 34, 59 and 64. The Powerball drawn was 22.
