Pre-rolls, chocolate bars and chews: 10 recreational marijuana products available at NETA Northampton

After a waiting period of almost two years, the first sale of marijuana for recreational purposes will take place on Tuesday, November 20, 2018.

The two dispensaries that will be holding the first legal adult marijuana sale for recreational use in Massachusetts are New England Treatment Access (NETA) in Northampton and Cultivate Holdings in Leicester.

NETA has been a medical marijuana facility in Northampton since 2015 and has obtained a final retail license with Cultivate.

A third dispensary, Pharmacannis Massachusetts at Wareham, has also obtained a definitive license but is not yet open for sale.

MassLive was able to view 10 NETA products that will be available to recreational consumers as early as Tuesday. These 10 products represent only a small sample of the over 200 products offered for sale by NETA.

Under the laws of the state of Massachusetts, people aged 21 and over can buy one ounce of flower, 5 grams of concentrate or a combination of both per transaction.

NETA sets purchase limits on its recreational products using a 100 point system. Each product is associated with a set number of points so customers can easily know how much they can buy at one time, without exceeding 100 points.

Note: NETA accepts cash, debit and credit cards.

All NETA marijuana products are produced in a culture center in Franklin, Massachusetts.

Pre-rollers are one of many products that can be purchased by recreational consumers. Each pre-roll is packaged with a premium marijuana flower made of rice paper or natural hemp, then twisted by hand.

This multiple pack contains five different pre-rolls containing 1 gram each. It is also available in a mini size of 10 points.

For customers who wish to stick to a single seal, unique pre-rolls are available. According to NETA, these products are "perfectly adapted to your needs and improve your mood" with powerful and tasty varieties.
