Bring the koalas!

On Tuesday, Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry went to Sydney's Taronga Zoo, where they met some new furry friends.

This included Ruby, a koala mother who gave birth to Meghan and Harry, named after the royals.

The couple arrived in Australia on Monday and officially opened the new Taronga Institute of Science and Learning while on their way to the zoo, scheduled to stop the first day of their 16-day Australia tour, in New Zealand, Fiji and Tonga.

And with Meghan's pregnancy is no longer a secret, the duchess's swollen recent dresses are gone.

The royal was released Tuesday morning in Sydney in a white sheath dress of Australian designer Karen Gee (rightly called the dress "Blessed").

According to RoyalWatcherBlog.com, there was also a nod to Princess Diana on the first day of the trip, while Meghan wore gold butterfly earrings that resembled those of a pair that once wore Harry's mother.

On Tuesday, the future parents were in a good mood. The couple began their day at Admiralty House, the official residence of Australia's Governor General in Sydney, Sir Peter Cosgrove, who gave Meghan a stuffed kangaroo and baby boots, the latter seeming to delight Prince Harry.

"This is our first baby present!" exclaimed the Duchess.

If their tour follows the pattern of the Prince William's Down Under tour 2014, the Duchess Kate of Cambridge and Prince George, then 9 months old, they are likely to return to London with a plethora of gifts from fans royal and well-wishers.

In the afternoon, visit the spectacular Sydney Opera House, where Meghan and Harry will attend a rehearsal of Spirit 2018 by the Bangarra Dance Theater, an internationally renowned Aboriginal dance company, Torres Strait Islander. (The couple went to the opera by boat, part of the day during which Meghan was transferred to comfortable apartments.)

"The best news of all time!" Twitter reacts to Harry and Meghan's pregnancy

Their first day on Australian soil will end with a reception at Admiralty House.

The first thing Wednesday, Harry and Meghan have to travel to the town of Dubbo on the Macquarie River, about 185 km northwest of Sydney. They plan to visit the famous Royal Flying Doctor Service in Australia to learn more about the vital role that the aviation department attributes to people living in rural and regional areas of the vast American continent.
