The city is busy with business
Manchester City won its fourth league title in eight years, becoming the first team to turn around in a decade. City had 20 shots, nine on the board, and at the hour of play, the game was practically over. City held 77% stake and had just played a full clinical game on the road leading to Liverpool from one point.
In what has been the most memorable title race of the years, City's dominance has been rewarded as the team won its second trophy of the season after winning the EFL Cup earlier in the campaign.
City now has a chance to end this magical season with three trophies as the club faces Watford next weekend in the FA Cup final at Wembley Stadium.
The unbelievable Liverpool league season brings nothing
It could be said that Liverpool had the best season since Arsenal Invincible in 2003-04. For this club, play 38 games and lose one (2-1 in Manchester City), and not win the championship is absolutely beautiful. It was another stellar performance for the Reds, especially in defense, but with destiny in the hands of City, there was nothing left to do.
