President leaves for Turkey today

President Arif Alvi paid a three-day visit to Turkey this morning at the invitation of his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

S addressing the media at Islamabad airport before his departure, the President said that Turkey was a major friend of Pakistan, which has always supported us on all issues, including Kashmir .

He added that apart from Saudi Arabia, we would also invite other friendly countries to invest in the country.

To a question, the president described as baseless and unfounded the reports that an Israeli plane landed in Pakistan. He said that Pakistan would not create any link with Israel.

During his stay in Turkey, the President will deliver a speech at the inauguration ceremony of the new international airport of Istanbul.

Presidents and premiers from several other countries will also participate in the ceremony.

President Arif Alvi should also hold bilateral meetings with his Turkish counterpart and leaders of other countries on this occasion.
