Protesters and supporters clashed Monday as President Donald Trump traveled to South Carolina to speak during an election campaign for Governor Henry McMaster, who is in a Republican first round with John Warren, Governor of Greenville.

An hour late due to a storm, President Donald Trump has just stepped onto the stage at a roar of thousands of thousands crowded into the airport's high school gym.

Air Force One and President Trump have encircled the Columbia Metropolitan Airport for more than 30 minutes due to a storm in the region, according to a presidential report.

Thunderstorms in the Midlands delayed the landing of Air Force One. The President and his travel crew had not landed at the Columbia Metropolitan Airport more than 10 minutes after their scheduled arrival.

Addressing the crowd at the airport's high school, US representative Tom Rice sounded a huge roar when he spoke about Trump. He also drew a road from the crowd when he mentioned the United States Ambassador to the United Nations and former Governor Nikki Haley. The mention of former President Barack Obama has attracted attention.

The protester Marta Burnette stood outside the high school of the airport with a sign criticizing Trump's hair, but she was challenging Trump with more serious things.

"Where do you start?" she asked. "He's incompetent, he's mean, he's a liar, he's a bad leader, he's a racist, he hates women, he's a bully."

Dozens of participants at the rally were fired because the high school gym at the airport is full.

Inside the gym, meanwhile, CNN has become an object of contempt for some. CNN's Jim Acosta sang slogans of "going home, Jim" and "CNN feared," and a taunt of the network, which according to the president reported "false news," was spotted.

The high school gym at the airport is almost fully filled almost three hours before Trump speaks. Hundreds sit on risers. Several dozens are standing.

Some use their McMaster signs to fade. Some took selfies with TV repoerters. Some chanted "Info Wars". Dozens of television cameras are installed on risers at the back of the gym.

Lucky supporters of Governor Henry McMaster and President Donald Trump show up at the airport's high school and come out of the 95-degree heat, with hundreds behind them.
The rally takes place in the gym of the West Columbia School, where participants fill the risers on both sides and some stand in front of the stage.

Many have red placards in support of McMaster for the governorship.

After meeting with constituents and holding a press conference in Simpsonville early Monday, Warren met with voters at a British Columbia restaurant less than a mile from where Trump and McMaster will meet this evening.
