Prince Charles has suggested that the name of the first child of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle might be Kylie or Shane.
The Prince of Wales joked that the names of Kylie and Shane were on the table for the first child of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to give birth in the spring.
Speaking at a reception celebrating the centenary of Australia House in London, Charles said: "Ladies and gentlemen, my son Harry told me that during their recent tour in Australia, he and his wife have been offered countless thoughtful suggestions for the designation of their future baby.
"Just between us, I suspect that Kylie and Shane could possibly be on the list of short-listed candidates," he said.
"But ladies and gentlemen, I would not hold your breath for Edna or Les."

Comedian Barry Humphries, known for his alter ego of Dame Edna Everage and Sir Les Patterson on television, was among the guests.
Harry and Meghan are expecting their first child in the spring, their anticipation based on the sex of the child and the name that will be chosen.
Charles, who has just turned 70, was accompanied by his wife, the Duchess of Cornwall Camilla, and praised Australia during his speech.
