Australian flies are no match for Prince Harry!

In one of the frankest moments of the royal tour so far, Prince Harry has hunted in a playful manner a woman who was giving a speech Tuesday.

While flies swarmed around her, Ruth Sandow, a representative of the Royal Flying Doctor Service, interrupted her own speech and said, "The flies are friendly to Dubbo! to keep them at bay in a clip posted by 7 News Sydney.

The movement is actually known as "Australian salute" or "Barcoo salute" (after the Barcoo River). It involves waving the hand in front of their faces at regular intervals while they talk to prevent bush flies landing on them or flying in their mouths.

The crowd laughed at Harry's surprise gesture, but no one laughed louder than his wife, Meghan Markle, who bowed in fits of laughter.

Harry is no stranger to annoying insects that fly in untimely moments. Just days after the couple's royal wedding, Harry delivered a speech in honor of his father, Prince Charles' next 70th birthday, at a country party at Buckingham Palace, when a bee began to buzz.

Harry tried to eliminate the insect and even interrupted his speech to declare: "Sorry, this bee really got me!"

Meghan immediately put her hand on his face to stifle his laughter.

The newlyweds, who are expecting their first child in the spring, will also travel to New Zealand, Fiji and Tonga during their 16-day tour.
