Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were greeted by fans as they made their way through New Zealand. The Duchess of Sussex can be seen cradling her baby belly.

Duchess Meghan’s baby bump is on full display.

Kensington Palace posted the sweetest picture of the expectant royal under the trees of the Redwoods Treewalk in Rotorua, New Zealand, the last stop of the newlyweds 16-day royal tour visiting cities in Australia, Fiji, Tonga and New Zealand.

In the Instagram picture, Duchess Meghan flashes a warm smile while cradling her growing baby bump among majestic 117-year-old redwood trees. The mom-to-be is due in the spring.

“Thank you New Zealand for the most wonderful last week of our tour. It has been a privilege to meet so many friendly Kiwis,” the couple said in a statement on the caption. “Australia, Fiji, Tonga and NZ – we leave feeling inspired and reminded of how every single one of us can make a difference.”

Their statement ended with a quote from Kate Sheppard, a prominent suffragette in New Zealand that Duchess Meghan previously quoted in her speech about women’s suffrage: “The rain that refreshes the parched ground, is made up of single drops.”

The fashionable Duchess of Sussex donned her husband’s coat during the photo-op because the prince is, well, a prince, giving his expectant wife his jacket during the chilly walk.

During the Down Under tour, Prince Harry referred to their bundle of joy as “our little bump,” even appearing to reveal that he hopes it’s a girl. (Cue smiles, tears and an overwhelming sense of happiness.)

The serene scene in the middle of the woods offered a striking contrast to the couple’s nonstop tour schedule that spanned four countries across the South Pacific over three weeks, where they had more than 70 engagements planned.

The tour coincided with the Invictus Games in Sydney, the sporting event founded by Prince Harry in 2014 to give sick and injured military personnel and veterans the opportunity to compete in sports such as wheelchair basketball.

Just days before, Meghan posted an equally sweet image of her husband practicing his speech for the Games’ closing ceremony on Kensington Palace social media.

The tour may be over, but we’re looking forward to more charming moments from the parents-to-be.
