The Duke and Duchess of Sussex revealed that they were expecting their first child together when they arrived in Sydney, Australia, last month.

Meghan started her second trimester, which is universally considered the safest point of pregnancy. That's why many wait more than three months before sharing their news.

Kensington Palace confirmed this exciting news in a statement on Monday, October 15th.

The statement revealed that Meghan was to give birth in the spring of 2019.

"Their Royal Highnesses have appreciated all the support they have received from around the world since their wedding in May and look forward to sharing this happy news with the public."

Although the royal family never reveals the exact dates of delivery, Meghan is expected to take place in April, in five months.

The first day of spring will fall on Wednesday, March 20th and end on Friday, June 21st.

That would probably mean a deadline for the month of April, although it could obviously be slightly ahead, which could see it come into being at the end of March. This means that Harry and Meghan's baby could easily fall on Brexit on Friday, March 29, 2019.

If Meghan is late, her baby could be born on Prince Louis' first birthday on April 23, 2019.
