Prince William and Duchess Kate returned to work after Prince Charles's 70th anniversary celebrations on Thursday will mark an initiative to fight cyberbullying.

The royal couple visited the BBC offices in London to mark Harassment Week and consider the network's progress as a "key member" of William's cyberbullying prevention working group, launched in 2016 .

Will and Kate, both 36, met three students from Wormholt Park Elementary School for a discussion of the Kids Online Wellbeing app during their visit.

Prince William delivered a speech on cyberbullying and social media, highlighting the positive and negative aspects of social networking platforms.

"I believe we are stronger when we are connected and more effective when we can understand each other's experiences," he said. "We must all recognize, however, that the initial optimism and hopes of social media give way to a real concern, and even to the fear of its impact on our lives."

Prince William explained why he created the task force: his children.

"I summoned the task force because I was a new parent," he said. "And I saw that my friends and peers were seriously worried about the risks of the very powerful tools we put in the hands of our children."

The duchess Kate's look was an outfit we had seen before. She was wearing a long-sleeved Teal Emilia Wickstead dress for the outing, paired with black pumps and her hair combed with an eruption. She previously wore this dress during a visit to the Center for Addiction Treatment Studies in 2015, as well as during a trip in 2014 to New Zealand.
