Prince William and Kate Middleton are about to convey their joy before Christmas to members of the armed forces and their separated families due to the deployment.

The royal couple is organizing a party for the children of the staff of two air bases currently serving in the Mediterranean country Cyprus. Then William and Kate, both 36, will visit the island the next day to meet those who serve – and give away some of the family gifts.

The party begins on December 4, as families of RAF Coningsby and RAF Marham squadrons join William and Kate for the party in London.

There, children can play, take photos in a photo booth and write letters to their relatives who are currently working at RAF Akrotiri in Cyprus.

The event will feature stands, Christmas stockings and snow balls, crackers and animations by Sharky and George. The two men attended a reception for bereaved military families at Buckingham Palace in May 2017.

The party is supported by the charity of the Royal British Legion in recognition of the sacrifices made by many families at this time of the year.

The next day, December 5th, William and Kate will travel to Cyprus to visit RAF Akrotiri and meet the on-duty personnel, base residents, station staff and members of the local community.

They will then head to the Oasis Center, which is used by locals as a recreation area when they are not on a shift. At the sergeant's mess, William and Kate must talk to the resort staff, their families, and take a short walk. They will then attend a Christmas reception and present the gifts to the families of 11 Squadron they met the day before at Christmas.
