Gift bags were distributed to members of the public invited to the Windsor Castle grounds for the wedding.

A number of gift bags given to guests of Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank for the wedding are sold online.

A dozen bags are on sale on the eBay site, with selling prices of up to £ 1,000.

The bags were given to the 1,200 members of the public chosen by secret ballot to follow the debates taking place in the compound of Windsor Castle.

The bags contain items such as service orders, fridge magnets, ponchos, shortbread and chocolate pieces.

An online list indicates that it offers "the opportunity to buy your own piece of British royal history".

Prices charged in the early hours of Saturday ranged from £ 100 to £ 1,000

The Friday wedding also brought together 850 private guests to whom no gift bag was handed out.

Among these 850 personalities were model Cara Delevingne and singer Robbie Williams.

Gift bags were also presented to the 2,640 members of the public invited to Windsor Castle Park for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's wedding in May.

A number of these gift bags have also been sold online, and many auctions have yielded more than £ 1,000.
