Priyanka Chopra congratulates Nick Jonas for his speech on the fight against diabetes

Priyanka Chopra expresses her support for Nick Jonas.

The 26-year-old crooner "Find You" took a moment on Friday to reflect on his ongoing fight against type 1 diabetes. The disease was diagnosed in Jonas at the age of 13.

"Thirteen years ago today, I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. The photo on the left is that of me a few weeks after my diagnosis, barely 100 kilograms after losing as much weight to because of my blood sugar so high would discover that I was diabetic, "wrote Jonas on Instagram. Singer Jonas Brothers' fiancée then left a nice note to her step-son, commenting on the article: "Everything about you is special, with or without diabetes."

Jonas has always talked about his diabetes, even going so far as to write "A Little Bit Longer" in 2008 about his feelings about the disease. At a press conference when promoting the Jonas Brothers' same-name album, the former Disney Channel actor explained his motivation for writing the title.

"I had a day when my sugar was out of reach and I sat at the piano and wrote it in 20 minutes," he said. "And it's because I had that strong inspiration, many people told me it was inspiring."

Nowadays, Jonas and Chopra are preparing to bond during an intimate ceremony in the actress' native India. Earlier this month, the couple got their marriage license. A source also told ET that the couple could get married before the end of the year.

"Priyanka and Nick were planning to get married early next year, but now it seems that they can get married before the end of 2018," the source said. "Since the first day, Priyanka and Nick have clicked and never slowed down their relationship.
