The Survivor Series has always been defined as a night of teamwork, with groups coming together to play in playoff games. Recently, the lines were drawn directly between Raw and SmackDown Live to define which brand is the largest.

To add excitement to the Big Four show, WWE often takes risks, pushing the boundaries of the story with brand supremacy. This makes the evening exciting for the sheer joy of seeing what society will pull to spark enthusiasm.

Last year, Triple H decided to take Kurt Angle for a cheap shot and he emerged victorious, to face retaliation from his partner Braun Strowman. The previous year, Goldberg was back in WWE and beat Brock Lesnar in less than two minutes.

What will come this year? What surprises are waiting? The WWE has already taken many risks for the implementation of this card, the turn of the heel and the shocking victory of Daniel Bryan in the support of Charlotte Flair responsibility to fight Ronda Rousey in place of Becky Lynch.

There will be surprises and real shocks along the way, but these are the most likely changes WWE will make on Survivor Series on Sunday to make this year's show stand out.

It's typical of parties like this that Raw and SmackDown are fighting for a tie before the main event decides the dominant brand, but unless Raw wins for the third time in a row or WWE does not plan to Awesome panic, the blue mark need to get out of doors quickly to be the best.

The biggest games on this card are Brock Lesnar against Daniel Bryan and Ronda Rousey against Charlotte Flair, and both have a high probability of finishing with a win on Raw. Assuming both games finish as planned, the rest of the night should be spent on SmackDown.

It would be a much more unique story to have scanned Raw so quickly that the main events were made to regain the honor. It's an idea similar to what had been achieved in 2016, when Raw had won the night before the match for the men's elimination, in which SmackDown had won the victory just to regain some momentum.

Commissioner Stephanie McMahon made great promises to Raw's Superstars, but her SmackDown counterpart, Shane McMahon, showed that he would do everything to have his sister be presumed. It's time for the so-called B-series to win.

Since the supremacy of brands rarely counts by the end of the year, it would only be a shock for the night. Nevertheless, it would be a good way to differentiate this year's show from previous brand war events.

Team SmackDown is a short member for Sunday. Although the most obvious decision is to place Mandy Rose at this location given her recent request to be part of the team, there is a much more interesting decision that the WWE could take for Survivor Series.

Nikki Cross debuted at SmackDown when the blue brand went overseas earlier in November in a scenario that could have been unique, but nothing prevents the NXT Twisted Sister from staying with his new brand. This would add the necessary enthusiasm to a match without real stories.

Team Raw is overloaded with underdeveloped female heels that do not stand out. Even with her recent alliance with Nia Jax, Tamina is not considered an imposing threat and Mickie James is a sidekick for too long to scare anyone.

The range of the SmackDown team, however, also lacks enthusiasm. Asuka can be great, but it's easy to forget that she's even on the main list given her recent booking. While they are former champions, Naomi and Carmella have faded in the same way.

The appearance of Cross would make this match hasty and more engaging and hopefully encourage some women to take risks. This would give the blue mark the good advantage to win Raw.

The Incarnate Beast did not return to the WWE to lose. Until the expiry of his new contract and the suspension of his UFC, it is up to him to dominate. However, the way he dominates will likely differ from one opponent to the other.

At Crown Jewel, Lesnar gave Strowman just three minutes of his time. It rarely gives a complete performance these days, but one of those rare moments was that of this event last year, when The Beast became serious, it was against AJ Styles.

Survivor Series 2017 was not a perfect show for The Conqueror, but he stepped up his efforts in a competitive 15-minute war. We hope to see the same thing this year. Paul Heyman must be in the ears of Lesnar to inform him of the type of competitor with whom he is about to embark.

Daniel Bryan compares well with some of the biggest rivals in Lesnar's career. It's a quick technical wizard that could push Lesnar to its limits without the WWE's universal champion even having to put in too much effort.

Nowadays, it's shocking to see Lesnar stay for 10 minutes, but that should be an exception. Heyman said Tuesday that he considered The "Yes" Man as the best wrestler in the world, and that this is probably not just the scenario that he reads. He believes it, and Lesnar should too.

When the Irish Lass Kicker was injured and forced to give Rousey his shot at someone else, it changed the complexion of Survivor Series. The new match between The Baddest Woman on the Planet and The Queen was rushed – especially for a contest that many saw as a potential clash with WrestleMania.

So it makes sense that the WWE does not want to give this match easily. It is therefore likely that some wrestlers will get involved to make sure there is no winner between two of WWE's best female stars. Nia Jax, in particular, seems to be an obvious choice to intervene.

As Rousey's No. 1 candidate, she has every interest in this conflict. If she interferes, it would be shocking if Becky Lynch did not show up as well. The female SmackDown champion has an account to settle with Jax, and the two will often be separated by brands.

Lynch is still unlikely to be too physical given his recent concussion, but it would be a treat for the fans to see The Man appear and defeat Jax. This would also allow Rousey to stay undefeated while protecting The Nature Girl from her distracted side.

Nobody looks bad and the stories are prepared for many future clashes. Although it is possible that Lynch is no longer allowed to any physical contact by Sunday, this is the only thing that prevents this from being an obvious surprise for the female confrontation.
